Greetings !

We are pleased to inform you that the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines Inc. – Region 7 (PCAPI7), in collaboration with the Environmental Management Bureau Region 7 (EMB7), is set to hold the Managing Head Environmental Seminar in accordance to Section 8 of DENR Administrative Order 2014-02 (Revised Guidelines for Pollution Control Officer Accreditation) with the following details:

Registration fee P 3,500.00 / pax inclusive of the seminar kit materials, USB, certificates of the training course, 2 snacks and lunch.

Under this DENR Administrative Order, Managing Heads/Executives of industrial, commercial, institutional establishments, LGUs and other government institutions that discharge wastes to the environment or are actual/potential sources of pollution shall attend an eight (8) hours training on environmental management covering the basic environmental laws, rules and regulations, and the duties and responsibilities of the Pollution Control Officers (PCOs). Please refer to the attached copy of the DAO 2014-02.

The importance of this training cannot be overemphasized considering the changing conditions of our environment that is affecting all of us.  The significant role of Managing Heads in the organization’s operations cannot be overlooked in ensuring that environmental laws are properly complied with. At the end of this training, participants will

  1. Be aware of the relevant environmental laws that affect company operations,
  2. Be familiar with the essential requirements of these laws and how they may be complied with,
  3. Be aware of the duties and responsibilities of company Pollution Control Officer (PCO)/ Environmental Officer requiring support from Management.
  4. Improved environmental performance and conformance to the environmental laws & regulations

Please take note that DENR Central Office has set the maximum number of participants per training to eighty (80) pax. There will only be eighty slots per training so we will give out confirmed slots only to those have paid already. We will accept confirmations until July 26 only or until the 80 slots are filled up whichever comes first.

Payment Terms

Note:

1. Pre-registration is strictly required. Walk-ins are not allowed.
2. Registration is only confirmed after receipt of payment.
3. A formal Confirmation Notice will be sent after receipt of payment. We suggest that confirmation of airline, accommodation and other bookings be done only after receipt of the confirmation notice to avoid unnecessary charges. PCAPI-7 will not be held liable for any fees as a result of change in bookings.

Cancellations:

1. In case of cancellation, a Notice of Cancellation should be sent to PCAPI-7 at least one (1) week before the event.
2. Fees are non-refundable if cancellation is made after the deadline, however a substitute delegate is welcome.
