PCAPI7 assisted Lapulapu City College on its Environment, Health and Safety Management Forum

It is encouraging to see the youth striving to improve themselves and their surroundings. Truly the hope of our nation lies in our youth, as the great Jose Rizal once said.

Students from the College of Technology and Department of Hospitality Management of the Lapu-lapu City College held a forum on Environment, Health, and Safety Management on February 24, 2016. This was part of their celebration of “Technology Week” which lasted from February 22 – 24, 2016.

Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. – Region 7 (PCAPI7) was requested to provide the resource speaker for the event. Engr. Ester Ivy P. Tariman, an environmental management consultant and an instructor from San Carlos Seminary College, was fielded to enlighten the students on the environmental state of the country and how the youth can be agents of change for a better Philippines.

According to Engr. Tariman, the students were well informed about the environmental problems facing the country. They showed much interest in the subject.
